Current position: the LMS uses strictly necessary security and session technologies. We do not currently use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files or browser values used to remember information about a visit. Similar technologies may provide the same functions.
Strictly necessary technologies
Authentication and security cookies are required to sign learners and administrators in, maintain a secure session, prevent misuse and provide the service requested. These cannot be switched off through a consent banner because the LMS would not function correctly without them.
Payments
When you continue to Stripe Checkout or a Stripe-hosted invoice page, Stripe may use technologies necessary for secure payment, fraud prevention and its service. Stripe provides information about its own processing on its website.
Analytics and marketing
Dangerousgoods.ie does not currently activate non-essential analytics, advertising or conversion-tracking cookies on this LMS. If we introduce them, they will remain disabled until the required consent is obtained, with equally accessible options to accept or reject and a way to change the choice later.
Managing cookies
You can remove or block cookies through browser settings, but blocking necessary cookies will prevent login and other secure LMS functions. Questions can be sent to info@dangerousgoods.ie.
